Integration

If we define time as a dimension of reality through which we travel in a singular, linear, direction (how most humans perceive and experience time), then to integrate a person’s life with respect to their periodic photographic representations would be to combine those many images into a single image, abstractly representing the person during that span of time.

To produce this series, my subjects load many or all of their selfies into a folder. Then, my process pulls a random set from that folder and combines them into a single image. This is repeated many times until one emerges which I deem worthy of final manipulation. The result is an abstract look at that person’s appearance through the veil of integration.

This series is ongoing…
