Analog Photography
This work consists of analog studio photography using 35mm and 60mm film.
I aim to document something below the surface — behind the face yet above the soul — where experience and perception blend together. Happiness, tempered by grief. Sadness, mitigated by hope. There is something deeper in all of us that, even if for fractions of a second, must eventually surface and find its relation to the world.
With my subject, we tease out these moments and, if fate would have it, capture them on film.
